Listings of vacation rental condominium units at Kamaole Sands, Kihei, Maui that are available directly through owners.

At Kamaole Sands, smoking is limited to designated smoking benches, which are located well away from buildings to limit second-hand smoke intrusion into units.  Most units and all lanais are designated no smoking.  Violators are subject to fines.  Mahalo for your kokua!

  Condo numbers--the first one or two digits represents the building number (1-10)while the last three digits represent the unit number.  The first digit of the unit number represents the floor.

Maui Electric Company charges owners 41 cents per kilowatt hour.  Please, please conserve energy by turning off lights when not needed and turn off air conditioning, if used, when leaving the unit.  Your cooperation will help keep condo rental rates down.

 

Be a good neighbor--please observe Kamaole Sands By-laws banning smoking on lanais and in all common areas, including sidewalks.  Second-hand smoke, a toxic contaminant, can enter other units.  See the Resort Map for designated smoking areas.

All of the one-, two- and three-bedroom suites include two bathrooms, a private lanai, and a fully equipped kitchen.  All private lanais as well as resort common areas are smoke-free.  In addition, the Pool Recreation Area, BBQs, walkways, catwalks, elevator and partially-enclosed areas are smoke-free.  All units are designated smoke-free, and many impose penalties for tobacco use..

Groups renting four or more units must contact the AOAO office for registration information and the payment of a refundable $500 security deposit.  Additional security costs must also be reimbursed to AOAO.  Groups renting through resort management companies may be subject to additional condominium security deposits.

Important House Rules

  • No person on the premises shall make any noise or engage in any loud or offensive conduct which shall disturb or annoy any owner or lessee.  Quiet hours are in effect from 10:00pm to 8:00am.
  • Owners, guests and lessees must register at the front desk for parking permit and pool gate code ($15).  Registration entitles guest to a complimentary internet card, complimentary Maui News, a Maui Magazine, and an invitation to the Wednesday Mai Tai party
  • Due to limited parking and amenity availability, no occupant owner or occupant lessee shall invite more than 10 guests without permission from AOAO
  • The use of a BBQ table is limited to 10 persons in a party.
  • Towels or personal items shall not be hung on the lanai railings.
  • Smoking is prohibited by state law in enclosed and partially-enclosed common areas, and prohibited by AOAO Board of Directors in the Pool Recreational Area, BBQs, tennis courts, the central courtyard, and all walkways.   
  • Smoking on private lanais is prohibited.  Be a good neighbor--please follow the no-smoking guidelines posted.
  • Smoking benches are provided at convenient areas adjacent to the parking lots--see resort map for locations.
  • Many resort management companies and private owners have a totally smoke-free condominium policy, and some charge a deep cleaning fee for violations of the smoke-free rule.
