Our smoke-free condo features                         

  • free and dependable broadband internet access (bring your own laptop--we provide the ethernet cable), free local calls, and free resort registration

  • one spacious bedroom with full-width, sunny mountain-view window, plantation shutters, ceiling fan, Sharper Image Sound Soother, cable TV and DVD/VCR/CD, and Serta Perfect Sleeper pillow-top queen mattress.

  • two beautifully appointed bathrooms with glass block, Oceanside glass tile, jetted showers, and African Mahogany cabinets with bamboo motif

  • stack washer/dryer

  • private lanai with pool, garden and mountain views

  • fully equipped, bright kitchen with granite countertops, mosaic tumbled marble backsplash, task lighting, glass-top range, over-the-range microwave, dishwasher, blender, toaster, waffle iron, rice cooker, coffee maker, coffee grinder, and quality cookware and tableware;

  • dining room/living room with wide side window equipped with plantation shutters, ceiling fan and new 24,000 BTU air-conditioning; new mattress in sleeper sofa, cable TV and DVD/VCR/CD

  • this is the unit Tommy Bahama would choose to stay in, if he had the choice!  We are decorating in the British Colonial theme--palm and banana trees, pineapples, and wicker in natural colors, with a touch of whimsy. 

Our unit is on the southern end of the third floor of Building Five, one of the best-located buildings in the Kamaole Sands Resort.  Views from the bedroom look toward magnificent Haleakala.  Views from the lanai look onto the pool complex and gardens, with the West Maui Mountains on one side and Haleakala on the other.  The lanai is aimed toward the west and catches the beautiful sunsets most of the year.  A wide overhang protects the lanai from the warm afternoon sun.  Trade winds usually waft through the unit keeping it cool.  If it gets too warm, the new remote controlled, five-speed, 24,000 BTU air conditioner will keep you comfy.  The walkway is well removed from the bedroom window assuring privacy and light.  Our guests have loved this unit and return year after year.

We invite you to be our guest at one of Kamaole Sands finest units, situated in one of the best located buildings. Our condo and its lanai is smoke-free.  We love pets, but they have to stay home.

We rent to non-smoking adults only.  Your rate depends on the date of your stay, not the date of your booking.

THESE RATES DO NOT REFLECT THE 7TH NIGHT FREE SPRING/SUMMER SPECIAL.  YOUR INVOICE WILL BE ADJUSTED.

2009

January 5 to August 30, and Thanksgiving Week:  Special discounted weekly rate of $1085 ($155 per day; [$175 per day for 5 or 6 day stays]).
September 1 to December 14, excluding Thanksgiving Week: Special discounted weekly rate of $1015 ($145 per day; [$165 per day for 5 or 6 night stays]).
Christmas Season (December 15-January 4): Special discounted weekly rate of $1330 (with three-week minimum)
Add 11.42% tax & end-of-stay housekeeping charge ($89). 

2010

January 5 to August 30, and Thanksgiving Week:  Special discounted weekly rate of $1120 ($160 per day; [$180 per day for 5 or 6 day stays]).
September 1 to December 14, excluding Thanksgiving Week: Special discounted weekly rate of $1050 ($150 per day; [$170 per day for 5 or 6 night stays]).
Christmas Season (December 15-January 4): Special discounted weekly rate of $1365 (with three-week minimum)
Add 11.42% tax & end-of-stay housekeeping charge ($89). 

Credit cards accepted through our boutique, The Last Resort

Our rate includes free broadband internet cable access (bring your own laptop), free local calls, and free resort registration.  (The usual internet charge is $9.95 per day and the resort registration is $15,)
Five night minimum (except Christmas season).
Monthly discount: 10% off the weekly rates.
A $300 deposit secures your dates. 

  • First time bookings subject to a $300 security deposit in the event there are any damages or extraordinary departure cleaning expenses.  Your security deposit will be mailed back within ten days of checkout and verification of the condition of the unit.   The security deposit is waived for credit card payments.

  • First time bookings: Total rental fee due 30 days before arrival.

  • Repeat bookings: Total rental fee minus deposit due 30 days before arrival.
