The living room and third bedroom open to private lanais, each 
tiled with natural slate rock. From either lanai you step onto the 
green and expansive lawns of this resort's lush tropical gardens 
featuring walking paths and two walking bridges overlooking the 
ponds and waterfalls. Both water features are beautifully lit for 
evening walks. 

The fully equipped kitchen overlooks the open and spacious dining 
area and living room. Amenities included are microwave, fridge 
with icemaker, dishwasher, garbage disposal, coffee maker and 
coffee filters, tea kettle, toaster, blender, hand mixer, serving trays, 
bbq utensils, cutting boards, corkscrews, water pitchers, pots, 
pans, baking sheets, mixing bowls, serving trays, and lots of extra 
touches.

The living room has a large screen TV with VCR, a stereo with CD 
player, tape player, am/fm radio and remote controls for all the 
electronic systems.  Plug and Play high speed internet access is 
available for an additional fee. A place to set up your laptop is 
conveniently located next to the cable modem in the living room. 
The living room sofa pulls out to a queen size bed.

The large and sunny bedrooms, renovated in January 2005, each 
have new Serta plush hotel quality beds, new ceiling fans, new 
carpeting, new window treatments and each is uniquely designed 
with tropical Hawaiian colors and decor.

The "lanai bedroom" opens out to its own private lanai from a full 
length, floor to ceiling window and screened sliding glass door. A 
second window in the bedroom opens to let the cooling Maui trade 
winds in. All new furniture, finely crafted and of Hawaiian design, 
includes a dresser and mirror, tall wardrobe cabinet, queen size 
headboard and two bed side tables.

The "kid's bedroom is a favorite of ours and of other Kam Sands 
owners who often come through to see our latest decorating 
additions. This room is very spacious and 'kid' friendly. It 
features two brand new Serta Plush twin beds, high vaulted 
ceilings, an east facing window with lots of morning sun and a 
west facing window that allows the cool afternoon trade winds in. 
The large and open bedroom closet has custom design shelving 
and clothes racks.  The framed art, bright and whimsical, features 
local artists here on the island. Big floor pillows, and striped 
accent chairs -- this is a great room for rest or play. 

The "master bedroom" has a full length window with custom
installed plantation shutters that allow privacy while still allowing 
lots of light and the cooling afternoon breeze in. A private full size 
bathroom, colored TV with remote, rattan bedroom furniture, and 
Hawaiian style bed ensemble give this room its own unique feel. 
This bedroom also features an open closet with custom installed 
shelving and clothing racks.

Two full size bathrooms recently upgraded and remodeled feature 
floor to ceiling tiled showers. Glass block features and a built in 
bench were added to the hall bath and the enlarged shower in the 
master bath has room enough for two inside the beautiful glass 
enclosure that runs the length of the bathroom. 

Both bathrooms have large and roomy countertops along with 
plenty of storage space to accommodate everyone's personal 
toiletries.

The laundry area has a stacking washer and dryer, iron & ironing 
board, vacuum cleaner, broom/dustpan & two drying racks for air 
drying wet towels and clothing.

Bed linens, bath and kitchen towels, hand towels and washcloths 
are fully stocked.  Large, really nice, thick beach towels are 
available upon request.  

Beach chairs, beach umbrellas, ice coolers, boogie boards, sun 
hats, baby stroller, snorkels, snorkel masks and fins, and other 
varying amenities used and donated by our many generous 
guests over the years are kept in the "kids" bedroom closet. 
These are here for your use, however, the inventory of items 
an vary.  The beach toys are kept in the storage bench on the 
lanai.
